Twin Hydraulics Engineering Sdn Bhd has supplied and serviced hydraulic equipment in Malaysia since 2009. We hold stock and run workshops at two branches — Bukit Jelutong in Shah Alam, Selangor, and Kawasan Perusahaan Teras Jaya in Butterworth, Penang — which puts us within a day's reach of the Klang Valley, the northern corridor, and most industrial sites in between.

We are a Bosch Rexroth Certified Excellence Partner and a Hengst Filtration Competence Partner. Both are earned statuses rather than ordinary reseller agreements: they require demonstrated technical competence, factory training and a service standard the principal audits. In practice that means the parts we supply are genuine and traceable, and that when an application question runs past what a catalogue can answer, we can put it to the factory.

What we supply

Pumps and motors

Our largest stock holding is the Rexroth A10VSO axial piston variable pump, and we carry the through-drive and shaft conversion kits to reconfigure a unit to your mounting and drive arrangement rather than waiting on a factory build slot. Alongside it we supply the wider axial piston range — A10VO, A10VNO, A10VG, A4VG and A4FO — plus vane pumps, external and internal gear pumps, radial piston pumps and axial piston variable motors. Valves

Directional control valves, including the 4WE 6 sizes that account for most industrial demand; proportional and servo valves; logic elements; and cartridge valves in both slip-in (DIN ISO 7368) and screw-in cavity forms, the latter to manufacturer-specific cavities. See the valve range.

Filtration

Hengst acquired Bosch Rexroth's hydraulic filtration business in 2020, and we supply the range that came with it — single inline and duplex housings, tank-top and return-line filters, and elements from coarse stainless steel wire mesh through to fine glass-fibre media for the cleanliness classes that servo, proportional and piston-pump circuits require. Instrumentation

WIKA pressure gauges, with the 213.53 series held as our main stock line, together with ifm electronic pressure sensors and transmitters, temperature instruments and condition-monitoring devices. See pressure instrumentation.

Hose, piping, gearboxes and accessories

Gates and Hansa-Flex hose and fittings, assembled and pressure-tested in our own workshop, plus gearboxes, accumulators, couplings and system accessories. See hose and piping.

We are not restricted to the brands we distribute. Where an application, an existing installation or a customer standard calls for it, we also source Parker, Eaton, Danfoss, Yuken, Atos, Vickers, Hydac, Kawasaki and Linde. All brands we supply.

Complete hydraulic systems, not only components

Our roots are in component supply, but much of what we do now is system work: hydraulic power packs and application systems designed around the duty rather than assembled from a catalogue, gearbox and drive-train solutions, and filtration systems specified to the actual fluid, contamination level and operating conditions on site.

We are also a pioneer of industrial condition monitoring in Malaysia, from a single device on one critical machine through to a customised installation covering an entire factory. That is the difference between repairing a pump after it has failed and changing an element before it does.

Repair, commissioning and on-site service

Pump and motor repair

Every unit we overhaul is run on our own hydraulic pump and motor test bench before it goes back to you, and the test results go with it. A repair that has not been proven under load is a guess. More on pump and motor repair.

Proportional and servo valve repair

Now available on Bosch Rexroth valves, carrying 6 to 12 months of warranty depending on the level of repair. We intend to extend this service to other brands.

Amplifier cards

Holding an obsolete amplifier card, or an installation that will not commission? We handle amplifier card retrofit, replacement and on-site installation and commissioning.

Workshop and field service

Hose assembly and testing, filtration system design and rental, scheduled servicing, oil filtration and breakdown attendance. All services.
