The Bosch Rexroth 4WRA and 4WRAE are direct operated proportional directional valves without electrical position feedback, in sizes NG6 and NG10. The solenoid force sets the spool position against a centring spring, so flow follows the command signal in proportion — smoothly, but with no closed loop correcting for flow forces. Twin Hydraulics Engineering supplies them across Malaysia.
This is the economical way to add controlled acceleration and deceleration to a circuit that would otherwise slam between positions on an on/off valve. On a hoist, gantry, feed axis or clamping circuit, that means less shock loading, quieter operation and longer hose and cylinder life, without the cost of a feedback valve. The 4WRAE carries integrated on-board electronics (OBE); the 4WRA is driven from a separate Amplifier Card.
Where repeatable positioning accuracy matters more than cost, step up to the 4WRE / 4WREE valves, which add spool position feedback in the same NG6 and NG10 envelopes. For higher flow, the pilot-operated 4WRZ / 4WRH and 4WRDE families cover NG10 and above.
What we need to quote: the full type code and material number from the valve nameplate, coil or OBE supply voltage, command signal (±10 V, 4–20 mA or IO-Link), connector type, and quantity. If you are replacing a valve, a nameplate photo plus the amplifier card model is ideal.
