The Bosch Rexroth A2FM is the all-purpose fixed-displacement axial piston motor — the bent-axis motor you fit when the drive needs one gear ratio and nothing more. Series 6x covers displacement sizes 5 to 1000 cm³/rev at 400 bar nominal and 450 bar maximum, in open or closed circuit. Twin Hydraulics Engineering supplies A2FM motors across Malaysia.
A fixed motor gives constant displacement, so output speed follows the flow you send it and torque follows pressure. That simplicity is the point: fewer parts to fail, high starting torque, and the same bent-axis rotary group that makes the A2FO tolerant of high pressure and less-than-perfect oil. Typical duties are winch and drum drives, conveyor and mixer drives, fan drives, and travel drives on machines that do not need a two-speed range.
Type-code variants cover shaft form, port plate and connection type, mounting flange, and options such as a flushing valve, counterbalance valve or holding brake.
What we need to quote: the full type code and material number (MNR) from the nameplate, plus quantity. If the unit is being replaced, a photo of the nameplate and of the shaft and port faces saves a lot of back-and-forth.
