PR4 radial piston pumps
The Bosch Rexroth PR4 is a valve-controlled radial piston pump with a fixed eccentric shaft, giving very low pulsation and excellent volumetric efficiency at high pressure. The current PR4 Series 3X is offered in single-flow and multi-flow (3-, 5- and 10-piston) versions with displacements from 0.4 to 20 cm³ per circuit, and continuous pressures of 700 bar. The earlier PR4 Series 1X is still supported for spare parts and replacements. Typical duties include hydraulic clamping and workholding on machine tools, press and test-rig pressure intensification, lubrication systems and small high-pressure power packs where a compact pump must hold pressure for long periods.
