The PR4 is a self-priming, fixed-displacement radial piston pump built for high pressure at small displacements — the kind of duty found in clamping, presses, test rigs, lubrication and small power units where a gear or vane pump cannot reach the pressure required. Series 1X units cover the smaller displacements and operate at pressures up to 700 bar depending on size, with a valve-controlled piston design that gives low pulsation and long life on clean oil.
Because PR4 pumps are often built into OEM equipment, replacements are usually specified by the exact type code. We supply new Series 1X and current-series equivalents and can advise on matching flange, shaft and port details.
