The Bosch Rexroth 4WRE and 4WREE are direct operated proportional directional valves with electrical spool position feedback, in sizes NG6 and NG10. An inductive transducer reports actual spool position back to the amplifier, which corrects continuously — so the flow you command is the flow you get, even as load pressure and flow forces change. Twin Hydraulics Engineering supplies them across Malaysia.
That closed loop is what separates this family from the 4WRA / 4WRAE valves: better repeatability, tighter hysteresis, and predictable behaviour near the null point. It makes the 4WRE the default choice for cylinder position and speed control on presses, test rigs, machine tools, injection moulding and any axis running under closed-loop control from a PLC or motion controller.
The 4WREE has integrated on-board electronics — command signal in, valve does the rest — while the 4WRE is driven from a separate Amplifier Card, which is often preferred where the electronics must sit in the cabinet rather than on the machine.
What we need to quote: the full type code and material number from the valve nameplate, coil or OBE supply voltage, command signal (±10 V, 4–20 mA or IO-Link), connector type, and quantity. If you are replacing a valve, a nameplate photo plus the amplifier card model is ideal.
