The Bosch Rexroth A2FO is the all-purpose fixed-displacement axial piston pump for open-circuit systems — a bent-axis design with no control to set, no swashplate to drift, and a flow that simply follows drive speed. Series 6x covers displacement sizes 5 to 1000 cm³/rev at 400 bar nominal and 450 bar maximum. Twin Hydraulics Engineering supplies A2FO pumps across Malaysia.
Because there is nothing to adjust, the A2FO is the pump of choice where the duty is steady and the priority is pressure capability and long service life: power packs, presses, test rigs, marine and offshore deck equipment, and truck-mounted hydraulics. The bent-axis rotary group tolerates high pressure and contaminated oil better than most swashplate designs, and the wide size range means one series covers everything from a small stand-alone unit to a main pump on heavy plant.
Variants differ by shaft (splined or parallel keyed), port arrangement, mounting flange and direction of rotation — all of which are encoded in the type code, so the complete string matters when ordering a drop-in replacement.
What we need to quote: the full type code and material number (MNR) from the nameplate, plus quantity. If the unit is being replaced, a photo of the nameplate and of the shaft and port faces saves a lot of back-and-forth.
