The Rexroth 4WRZ and 4WRH are pilot-operated proportional directional valves for nominal sizes NG10 and above. A small proportional pilot stage shifts a large main spool, so the valve can pass far more flow than a direct-operated proportional valve while still varying direction and rate continuously instead of simply switching.
The two variants differ in how the pilot stage is driven. 4WRZ uses proportional solenoids, so main spool position follows an electrical command from the machine control. 4WRH is shifted by a hydraulic pilot pressure signal, which suits circuits — mobile and remote-control machines in particular — where the command already exists as pressure rather than current. Both are supplied with the usual choice of spool symbol, flow rating and pilot oil supply arrangement (internal or external pilot, internal or external drain), and both need amplifier or control electronics matched to the valve.
What we need to quote: the full type code or material number, nominal size, rated flow at the specified valve pressure drop, spool symbol, pilot supply and drain arrangement, solenoid voltage, and whether you also need the matching amplifier card.
