The WIKA 213.53 — our main stock gauge
If you work on hydraulics in Malaysia, this is probably the gauge on your machine. The WIKA 213.53 is a liquid-filled Bourdon tube gauge built specifically for hydraulic duty: a copper alloy measuring element in a stainless steel case, glycerine filled so the needle stays readable on a pulsating pump line, with a restrictor screw in the process connection.

Choosing a gauge
— Dial size — bigger dials read more accurately and are easier to see from a distance
— Range — pick a range where normal working pressure sits between a third and two thirds of full scale. A gauge running near full scale all day will not last.
— Connection — thread size and whether the entry is at the bottom or the back
— Filling — glycerine-filled gauges damp vibration and pulsation and last far longer on a working machine. This is why the 213.53 is the default choice on hydraulics.
— Case material — stainless steel for corrosive or washdown environments, common in food processing and marine work
Differential pressure gauges
A differential gauge reads the difference between two points — most often across a filter, where it tells you directly when the element is loading up. Versions with switch contacts feed that signal to a control system, so a blocked filter raises an alarm instead of quietly bypassing.
