Wika pressure gauges with medium measuring ranges from 16 to 100 bar, including the popular 0–25, 0–40, 0–60 and 0–100 bar scales. This is the working range for many industrial hydraulic power packs, machine tool clamping circuits, presses and moulding machines running at 40–70 bar, water booster and fire systems, and process lines where a 0–16 bar gauge would be over-ranged.
Glycerine-filled stainless steel gauges are the usual choice here because medium-pressure hydraulics tend to pulsate, and the liquid filling protects the movement and keeps the pointer readable. Brass-connection gauges suit water and air; all-stainless gauges suit oils, chemicals and outdoor installations. Standard dial sizes are 50, 63, 100 and 160 mm with bottom or back entry.
